What is a CrossFit Workout?

CrossFit, is a new sport that is the main General Physical Preparation (GPP) program in many police academies and tactical operations teams, special military units, soccer teams, cyclists (road and MTB), skiers, martial arts champions and hundreds of other professional and elite athletes around the world as well as anyone who wants to feel fit.

Our program is a sport that by design is broad, general and inclusive. Our specialty is not to specialize. Combat, survival, many sports and life, rewards this type of fitness and in general punishes the specialist.

The CrossFit Pittsburgh program is designed for universal adaptation making it perfect for any individual who is engaged, regardless of their experience. The same programming has been used from older people with heart problems to boxers the last month before a televised match. We adapt weight and intensity; We do not change the program.
